I specialize in the meeting place of spirit and form, where the shen (spirit body) interacts with the elemental physical. This work produces phenomenal results with anxiety, depression, complex trauma and other nervous system disorders, somaticized emotions, and all forms of musculoskeletal issues.
My practice fuses the principles of Classical Chinese medicine with Taoist and Buddhist philosophy and parts work. I approach this work as a collaborative, dynamic exploration where we take on health projects, rather than health problems.
I graduated from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA. I am a licensed acupuncturist in Hawai’i and California and an NCCAOM Diplomate of acupuncture and herbal medicine. I also completed a two-year postgraduate program of study in Classical Chinese herbal medicine, and am currently involved in a mentorship program with Dr. Yvonne Farrell.
In 2024 I expanded my Los Angeles-based practice to Maui, and it is my great joy to be able to offer this medicine across the Pacific.
